Transparency means regular, clear updates from the departments that serve you. 
To keep citizens informed without overloading our city staff, I will be proposing and pushing for a new schedule for department updates to be presented at our regularly scheduled council meetings:
First meeting of the month:
Finance, Police, and Parks & Rec.
Last meeting of the month:
Fire, Planning & Zoning, and Public Works & Water Dept.
This schedule ensures all six major areas have a chance to provide real metrics, share progress on current projects, and announce upcoming events.
It gives you the power to measure month-to-month growth and holds us accountable to the standard you deserve.
